Family-Owned Business
Sol Griffith, the founder of FireShield Solutions LLC, hails from a close-knit logging community nestled in the mountains of south-central Wyoming. His affinity for chainsaws began early, learning to wield one at just nine years old. After seven years of honorable service inthe U.S. Army, Sol transitioned to the U.S. Forest Service as a wildland firefighter, serving as a sawyer on an elite hotshot crew. His passion for chainsaws and trees naturally led him to a career as a contract climber in the tree care industry. Today, when Sol isn’t leading FireShield Solutions or working with trees, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and embracing the outdoors with his wife, Shaila, and their three sons: twins Boon and Bear, and their newest addition, Sawyer.
